On 6th October, 2016 IMANI held a public event to present the final report of the assessment of the 2012 National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto as part of the “IMANIFesto Programme”.  

Summary 

The IMANIFesto Programme is an assessment of the status of implementation of the 540 promises contained in the 2012 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Manifesto entitled ‘Advancing the Better Ghana Agenda’. The report is simply an output-based assessment. It examines whether the deliverables in the ‘Advancing the Better Ghana Agenda’ have been executed or otherwise. It does not intend to assess the outcome or impact of the output on the well-being of Ghanaians.

In July 2015 we published a progress report on the level of execution of the 540 promises. The NDC was awarded a performance score of 47%.  The final report of IMANI’s work established that the NDC implemented 52.9% of their 2012 Manifesto.
