In our 2015 Annual Report themed “A new IMANI, a New Africa”, we indicated that “…we will continue to work tirelessly to contribute our quota to the development process of the Sub-region.” We have not failed to live up to our promise. The first half of 2016 has kept many of IMANI Staff very engaged – from conferences – stakeholder engagements – to close-door meetings with Policymakers.
For instance, IMANI President, Franklin Cudjoe delivered a business lecture to Mexican and African diplomats, business men and women during an official trip to Mexico in May this year. In recognition to our contribution to private sector development, Mr. Cudjoe was appointed by the Honourable Lady Chief Justice (Ghana) to the Users Committee of the Commercial Court of the Republic of Ghana. IMANI’s head of Business and Associate International Relations Desk, Aboagye Mintah, represented the think tank at a Forum organized by the Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM) in Turkey April 2016. Isidore Kpotufe, who is Head of Communications at IMANI also attended the Third Africa Think Tank Summit held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe in the same April 2016.
Once again, we are more than ever ready to contribute our quota to the development process of Africa by producing evidence-based research and continuously engaging policymakers to advocate for the implementation of sound public policies.
